T 104 LEARNING ENGAGEMENT AND MOTIVATION
Learning Engagement and Motivation (LEM) programme is aimed at strengthening the knowledge based on LEM. It engages practitioners in interactive discussions on the concept and practice of LEM. It examines approaches to learning, predictors of LEM, and methods of engaging their students' current status of LEM, and how they can influence the students to become self-regulated learners. This programme prepares participants to become more aware of the need to reflect and develop new skills in doing reflective practice so as to prepare themselves towards becoming an effective leader and Master Trainer in LEM.
At the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
• Apply evidence-based LEM theories in HELT;
• Conduct research in LEM; and
• Train and lead HEIs in the area of LEM.
